Wild Weekend!

Just finished another wild weekend with the fams! Chad came down to the "country" and he, Ruby and I trekked to Jackson, Dexter, and back to Jackson again in 2 days! Unbeknownst to us, as we arrived in Dexter, Ben was packing his backpack and was ready for "a sleepover with Chad and Nikki" at Ma and Pa's house! Wow -- that boy has energy and he never ceases to amaze with his exceptional vocabulary. We played hockey, basketball, wrestling, fireman and a few other things I can't recall at the moment -- needless to say, Chad and I were exhausted! The weather this weekend was great -- sunny and slightly warmer than it has been...it made me long for spring! But then Sunday came and it was time to say goodbye again to Chad as he and Ruby left for Jeff City -- it never gets easier but I know the end of being apart is in sight!

We had a great weekend with our families and I find myself feeling extremely lucky to have found the love of my life and to have two wonderful groups of people that support us!

Ruby's growing up!

Here are some recent pictures of Ruby -- she is getting so big! We are finally on the downhill slide to the final move and the wedding -- it's very exciting! We have started getting bids on the house remodel and hopefully we will have that done before the wedding. We plan to have a big yard sale in a couple of weeks and make some money to go towards our trip -- combining two households adds up to A LOT of different furniture and things...gotta get rid of some of it!

Getting closer to spring break!

Finally, we are getting closer to spring break and the big yard sale. Hoping to make quite a bit of money to help with the wedding/honeymoon. I have two job interviews during that week as well and Ruby Doobie has her spaying surgery. Just so ready to get to the end of the semester...
